Asif is a Trainee solicitor at ALH Solicitors and has a keen interest in Criminal Defence and Advocacy. He joined the firm in 2019 and is shortly due to qualify as a solicitor. Asif is currently pursuing his qualification as a police station representative. Asif completed his Law degree from the University College of London and has also passed the Bar Exams at Lincolns Inn. Asif has also completed a Master's in law. He has qualified as a Commercial and Civil Mediator and has a keen interest in alternative resolutions of legal disputes.

Asif manages a general criminal and civil caseload under the supervision of senior partners in the firm. He deals with both private and legally aided matters. He provides key assistance to solicitors and Partners in providing vital support to assist in the smooth running of the firm.

Asif has excellent focus and attention to detail and has a thorough and determined approach to case preparation. He prides himself on sound judgement and is a tenacious and passionate defender of his clients’ rights. Clients find him approachable and informative, and he assists clients facing personal difficulties arising from their cases. His high standard of client care has led to a loyal client base and many referrals from clients and lawyers alike. Asif regularly represents his clients at Prison Parole Board Hearings and Prison Adjudications. Asif recently represented a high-profile inmate on a prison law matter and was successful in making submissions to the Parole Board.

Asif is a sporting enthusiast and has played cricket semi-professionally with his specialism as a fast bowler. He is also an avid reader and has a keen interest in expanding his legal and professional knowledge. He is an invaluable member of the ALH team.

He recently assisted the senior partner in a high-profile case at the Court of Appeal which involved a change in a key area of law which would change substantially alter the procedure for future cases appeals to the Court of Appeal through the High Court JR proceedings.
